Presena is one of the few glaciers where it is possible to perform summer skiing. A modern cabin lift will take skiers to an altitude of 2,585 metres to the Paradiso pass: it is the entrance to the glacier which unwinds itself before you to a height of 3,069 metres at the Cima Presena.
Majestic mountains crown the glacier surrounding the skier in a perfect embrace. Free riders can find the perfect access point to the most beautiful off piste tracks of the Alpine range: Mandrone, Maroccaro, Cima Venezia, Pisgana.
The glacier also offers a great opportunity for trekking, with an enthralling climbing trail amid the memories of the Great War.
With a rucksack on your back, the satisfaction will be immense when you reach the Amici della Montagna bivouac across the trail “Sentiero dei Fiori” which runs along the ridge of the “Punta del Castellaccio” and the “Corni di Lagoscuro” along a series of trails from the “White War”. More experienced walkers can descend to the Pass of Maroccaro and to the “Vedretta di Presena”.
