Lifestyle Room Binario Zero

The new Lifestyle Room Binario Zero opened in August 2017, right in front of Hotel Bernina. Its unique feature is its 10 luxurious rooms that directly overlook the tracks of the Station, from where the famous Trenino Rosso departs, leading to the glittering glaciers of Bernina up to an altitude of 2,253 metres.

The structure was built respecting the environmental protection standards, such as the use of district heating with a renewable energy source. The entrance and ground floor were furnished with wooden panels made exclusively from wood recovered from various sources. A high-performance air-conditioning system with low noise impact was also installed.

From the rooms, you can appreciate the departure of the Bernina Express with its red carriages typical of the Rhaetian Railway or the panoramic wagons with a glass dome, departing from the Station for a slow and unstoppable journey to begin climbing up the Alps in a fairytale landscape, unlike any other place in the world, to reach Saint Moritz in just a few hours.

A short stroll from the Lifestyle Room Binario Zero, the renowned Restaurant Pizzeria Bernina will welcome you to offer a rich international breakfast, giving you the opportunity to taste typical dishes and wines of the Valtellina territory and delicious pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven.

Rooms

The 10 modern rooms, furnished down to the finest detail, have walls and doors insulated from all noise impact, private bathrooms with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, TV with Sky Gold programming, free WI-FI access, a minibar and adjustable air-conditioning. In some rooms, there is also a garden or terrace.

Restaurant

A few steps from the guesthouse, you can have lunch and dinner in the affiliated restaurant Bernina, offering national cuisine with a variety of menus served at the table along with a buffet of vegetables, a broad choice of desserts as well as evenings with a typical Valtellina menu.

Some Valtellina dishes include the “Kings” of pizzoccheri, polenta taragna, sciat, local bresaola and game such as venison, roe deer and chamois and even river trout. The cellar holds a wide choice of wines with Italian and international cuvées.

A spacious dining room is equipped for dinners and important ceremonies.

Self-check-in is coming soon.
